Cidermaking Festival, Le Corboulo Oct 2000In October we celebrated cider-making time as in past years with lotsof music, in the two main bars in St Aignan and Le Corboulo, behind the St Aignan church, at the Bio market at the Abbaye de Bon Repos, in our cart-shed, etc etc. You get the picture. We drank some of the early October product that had been home to London to keep warm, and we astonished the locals by mulling the cider on our new oil furnace. Several major restaurant and on-site meals for 15-30 people kept loups from portes. Added to the tradition this year was the erection of theatre curtains in the hangar (cart-shed), a PVA-stabilised dance floor thanks to Dee & Geoff, and lots of new indoor space building for chillier times.
