St Aignan area

St Aignan is a commune in the north of Morbihan, very close to the border with the Cotes d'Armor departement. Nearby is the vast Lac de Guerledan, with beaches and cafes, upland walks and pre-history, cycling and horse riding opportunities and beautiful abbey and chapels. Many village and heritage attraction signs are written in Breton as well as French and may tempt you to learn more about the language and culture that is being enthusiastically revived and nurtured. Music and dance festivals break out regularly, particularly during the summer but starting as early as May 8th. We also organise events on-site and will advise on what to expect at the many events organised mainly for the locals.
